Our close friends Peter and Li Peng have mentioned Tee’s Trading House many times. We finally went out together as a group and we each enjoyed a laksa.
Tee’s Trading House is located in the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets and is open to the street side rather than inside the market area.
I didn’t check the prices but Peter said this bowl was about $10. In my mind that’s pretty good. You can get vermicelli noodles plus chicken, beef and tofu rather than the barbecue pork that I had. If you ask for extra chili they’re happy to provide some. We each got some chop sticks and a Chinese spoon and I know I slurped like an emperor. Given I’m Asian I figured after the pork and noodles were finished it would be okay for me to put the bowl to my mouth and drink the spicy coconut milk soup. Before anyone could object I’d finished.
We’re very grateful to Peter and Li Peng for introducing Bron and me to Tee’s Trading House. I highly recommend the laksa.
