Claudia is a designer living in Canberra and she started her blog to keep a record of all the beautiful things she finds that inspires her, and to showcase her work.

  1. Congrats! Well deserved. Good luck on making your dream career come true. It doesn’t seem too far out there, right on the way judging from the food posts on this blog 🙂

  2. Congrats and thanks for the nomination! I’ve answered your questions but am stuck working up my own to ask, will keep thinking…

ps/ I’ve attended a Star Trek convention and met Uhura, she called me honey.

    1. Thank you Marie. Likewise I had trouble coming up with some questions.
Wow the Ladies of Surrey really are awesome, you attend Star Trek conventions too 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. Hi Gary, thanks so much for the nomination. I hope all your dreams come true and you get to where you want to be. I’m reminded of the episode in the Big Bang Theory where Sheldon went to a medieval fare and reviewed it as Mr Spock. That could be your travel blog.

    1. Thanks Veronica. What a great idea. I could put on a wig and some ear prostheses, wear a blue shirt and make my camera look like a tricorder. LLAP

  4. Congrats and thanks to your for your kind nomination Mr Yummy! Cool to read a bit about you. Live long and prosper.

      1. It’s meant to pick up the last post you posted but it’s picked up a random one from WordPress News. Bizarre

  5. Congratulations Gaz on the award! I would love to be a worldwide food reviewer too! Ah, Gram Stains! I loved doing Gram Stains in my microbiology class! I took that for my life science requirement rather than plain old biology! I had a terrific teacher and still remember quite a bit of what I learned in the class. And, the best part of each week was doing the lab. I got A’s in both classes that how much I enjoyed what I was learning!

Again, congratulations and hugs to you! My best to you and yours! ^..^

    1. Thanks Barb. I’ve been doing microbiology for more than 30 years. The Gram’s stain is still up there even though we have all this twenty-first century technology. If I had more time and access I’d share photomicrographs too 🙂 You know a recipe and a photograph of a Salmonella with a warning on how to cook chicken properly 🙂

  6. WOW… Thanks heaps for the nomination Gaz. That’s really very thoughtful of you. 🙂 Haha… The other day at dinner, I asked for a table for 2 using the Vulcan salute – Live long and prosper, I had to google what that was called just now, and what it means. The waiter was super impressed and gave us extra great service. Trekkie fans are fabulous… I say totes get on going to a convention. AND…. How amazing is Instagram. I’m obsessed. Hope your weekend is going swell! Cheers, Anna
