Delicious Chicken Maryland recipe

Looking at the Yummy Lummy statistics is fascinating. The most common search term to get to Yummy Lummy is Chicken Maryland.

I’m conscious that just because a page is viewed frequently, it doesn’t mean it’s a popular page. A lot of people get to Yummy Lummy because they search for Chicken Maryland but from what I can see very few people feel strongly enough to share it via social media and no one comments. The most viewed post seems to be the most innocuous. 

It’s been a while since I did a Chicken Maryland post so here is another version. I hope you enjoy it. Please feel free to leave a comment.

Ingredients
  • Chicken Maryland
  • Peas
  • Corn
  • Broccoli
  • Dried mixed herbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli flakes
  • Butter
  • Tasty Coon cheese slices
Instructions
  1. In you favourite roasting tray add a Chicken Maryland piece, it doesn’t matter if it’s the left or right side.
  2. For a crispy cheesy crust add a slice or two of tasty Coon cheese (you can add any sliced cheese you like, I really like Coon)
  3. Add some salt and pepper and chilli flakes
  4. Place into an oven for one hour at 200 °C (fan forced)
  5. Five minutes after the chook cooks add the peas, corn and broccoli to a microwave cooking cup. Add some butter and mixed dried herbs. Cook for 90 seconds.
  6. Allow the chook to rest for about 15 minutes before serving.
  7. Plate up and shoot a photograph.
  8. Eat the meal
  9. Wash the dishes

  1. Love some cheesy chicken. My most viewed pages are people looking for recipes. They arent bloggers – dont leave likes or messages, no blog-love. Mind you sometimes they register so they can ask a question
