The last salmon Monday for 2014

This year I’ve had salmon Monday every week. Mostly it’s been for dinner but sometimes for breakfast too.

I’m not sure what I’ll do on Mondays in 2015. Meatless Monday has been suggested. I know that meatless Monday is a thing, especially amongst the healthy hipsters but that’s not me. Not that I don’t want an healthful life, but meatless Monday isn’t me. I’m tending to think it may be monster meat Monday or mammoth meat Monday or just meaty Monday.

I’m happy to take suggestions. What do you reckon my Monday meal meme should be?

To celebrate the last salmon Monday for 2014 I’ve shot a few photographs

It was delicious and a fitting end to 2014’s Mondays.

So what should I eat on Mondays in 2015?

  1. I think Meatless Monday’s, think of the challenge! (Vego food doesn’t have to be healthy, think of all that cheese!) Failing that, you could try Mad Monday and give some totally ‘nuts,’ type of recipes a go that you normally wouldn’t!

    1. Yes! I like the idea of Mad Monday. Unlike the footy players’ Mad Monday mine won’t be fuelled by alcohol 🙂

  2. Why not do a mix-up Monday? Then you can take all Barb’s suggestions and have plenty of variety? Or you could try out odd combinations and report on whether they work or not.

    1. If seafood can be counted as meatless that’s worth considering TOAC. Mondays are pretty full on so I need something easy and quick to prepare 🙂

  3. Meatloaf Monday? Monkfish Monday? Mac ‘n Cheese Monday? Mexican Monday? Meatball Monday? Mushroom Monday? Manicotti Monday? Marinated Monday? Meat Pie Monday? Minced Monday? Mongolian Monday?

Did I give you enough choices? 🙂 Be well and Happy New Year Gaz!
