I’m not sure how low carb the Smoque pulled pork protein plate is but it’s just meat and I figured it would be a good treat on a non-pay day Thursday.
I’m very fortunate the Smoque Woden restaurant is less than five minutes walk from where I work.
I’d been in early and hadn’t made my lunch so I needed a low carb lunch solution. In my mind the pulled pork protein plate was a good option.
I didn’t eat the cornbread.
The steak was good but not as good as the first time I had eaten at Chifley’s Bar and Grill. The Béarnaise sauce was like eating soft butter, it was so good. The cauliflower cheese was okay but a little burnt and the cheese wasn’t cheesy enough.
This vanilla panna cotta with a Queensland nut tuile was delightful. It was a great carb treat after a week or so of being low carb.
Hehe would I eat a takeaway pulled pork plate? Sure, why not! 😀
I reckon anyone who says no either doesn’t like pork or they’re lying 😀
