What I ate today

Another big day at work. Busy and interesting. The best kind of day.

I started with a fried egg on a whole grain English muffin along with some Oxford marmalade. For lunch I continued getting through my leftover organic red rice pork congee with ham hocks. For dinner I had salmon and vegetable patties with sweet corn and Brussels sprouts. My day in food was fantastic.

  1. Today’s dinner looks simple but delicious. I thought I was the only person on the planet who actually likes Brussels sprouts. Whenever I try to get the rest of my family interested in eating them, they treat me like I’m suffering from some sort of bizarre condition. As a special treat, I get to have them at Christmas and on my birthday.

    1. I live alone so I can eat them whenever I please 😀
As a kid I wasn’t fussed on them, but now I can roast them in a little oil or slow cook them in a slow cooker and enjoy them.
