Kale and salmon on a public holiday

While walking around Lake Ginninderra today I shot a pelican and posted the photograph on Instagram and Twitter. ABC New Canberra asked to use it. At the time I wasn’t thinking of eating kale.

For lunch I made a nice salmon and cheese omelet using tinned salmon in olive oil. I’m not sure I’d buy more of that. I don’t mind salmon in brine but salmon pieces/fillets in olive oil wasn’t that great.

This afternoon while watching Netflix I snacked on some chocolate almonds and peanut M&Ms.

So tonight I tried oven baking the kale with some olive oil and sea salt.

Monday dinner. Salmon with sweet corn and kale chips.
