After receiving my package of fresh #aussiespears last week from the Australian Asparagus Council I finished the last bundle of Baby asparagus tonight. It was sad to say goodbye to my #aussiespears. I enjoyed them so much. I left a bundle of baby spears for the last hurrah.
I woke to a subzero morning in Canberra. The sky was clear and a bright blue. I went for a walk around Lake Ginninderra. I started at about 8 am and the frost was still thick in the shaded areas. Where the sun illuminated the ground the frost had cleared leaving bright green grass and foliage. It was quite bracing outside but there were heaps of people walking, running and cycling around the lake. I wish I had a longer lens for the balloons. I was using a 35 mm lens which has a nice angle of view for most photography, however, it would have been nice to see the balloons a little more clearly.
The lake was pretty smooth this morning compared to yesterday. Typical for the subzero mornings, there was no wind, it was very still, the water rippling only with boards and kayakers.
For breakfast I enjoyed an English muffin with a fried egg on one half and some lovely Buderim ginger marmalade on the other half. For lunch I inhaled some leftover chicken congee. For afternoon tea I made myself some nice smoked salmon on VitaWeat biscuits. For dinner I made a salmon and curry noodles dish which was delicious.

I’ve noticed when I click on a photograph two gallery plugins are working together. I really like them both for different reasons. If it becomes too much of a nuisance I’ll deactivate one of them but for now I’m trying them out. I’ve also noticed that Safari doesn’t like my Google Maps and the WordPress reader app for iOS doesn’t handle the galleries very well either. Please bear with me while I sort this out. On the safari issue though it may work if you reset your web browser history. Try resetting your Safari: Safari Menu > Clear History and Website Data It just worked for me
