Waking up to nearly −5 °C near Lake Ginninderra made me feel hungry 🙂
I had arranged to meet Bron and Max for breakfast at the Ha Ha Bar on Lake Ginninderra. I thought a brisk walk would warm me up.
On the way to the Ha Ha Bar I came across a dead pelican in the lake. It is sad, but such is the circle of life.
I arrived at the same time as Bron and Max. When we walked in there were very few patrons at tables but most of the tables had been reserved such is the popularity of the Ha Ha Bar. We were shown a table near a wall and a bench seat. After asking for coffee we were ready to ask for food.
Bron went for a hot smoked salmon bruschetta, Max asked for blueberry ricotta hotcakes and I asked for French toast. You may have worked out from recent posts that I’ve strayed from my low carbohydrate way of life. My jeans are feeling a little more tight and I may have to re-explore belt holes I’ve not used for a few months.
The Ha Ha Bar has received good reviews from other Canberra bloggers. I’d happily recommend it for residents of Canberra wanting a great place to eat.

After breakfast I walked home and got warm. Around midday it was warmer outside so I went for a walk around Lake Ginninderra. I shot a few photographs. It was a pretty enjoyable walk.
