Last week, after Zoom church, there was a chat session after the service and during the conversation, a friend mentioned she was going to have Spam with week. That was enough for me to embark on a Spam challenge.
Feel free to check out the Facebook posts and leave a comment if you like.
Final thoughts
- Do you like Spam?
- What Spam recipes would you recommend?
- Out of the facebook posts above, which would you choose to make and eat?
You would beat me hands down in a spam contest. While I grew up eating spam occasionally, I could not eat that many meals of spam in a row, no matter how good the rest of the dish was. 😊 Winner, winner, spam dinner!
Haha, thanks, Karen. I’m happy to take that prize 🙂
One of my sons is very keen on Spam as well. If he has a long train journey he takes a tin of it and eats it with a spoon.
Wow, that’s hard core. I always cook my Spam 😊
Ah, my browser blocked all the Facebook posts but I hope you enjoyed your spam week.
It’s funny Emma how some browers block Facebook. I’ve set up Duck Duck Go as my search engine and it blocks Facebook pages too. If I’m on my mobile telephone the posts appear fine.
I will be laying off the spam for a while. Too much of a good thing and all that 🤣
I hope you’re well.
I like SPAM but don’t eat it very often. Do you use regular spam or do you like the variations?
Thanks, Lorraine. I tend to go with the original high salt version. I’ve tried the others and they’re okay, but the original is my favourite.
Okay–I don’t really like SPAM, but your dishes are so colorful and creative, I may need to rethink my approach to SPAM. Challenge on! 🙂
YES! I look forward to reading how you respond 🙂👍
Gary you have done incredibly well with your Spam challenge. Dishes even look good (he he)
Thanks, Sue, that is very kind of you. Is there a vegan equivalent of Spam that I should try?
Mmm! SPAM!
I think I was meant to live in Spam Land
