It’s pay day yay!!! In social media I started using the abbreviation TGIPD similar to TGIF.
In the past on pay day I’ve eaten a hot pie but today when I went to buy a coffee in the morning I spied something a little more special.
So from the top, for breakfast I toasted an English muffin and topped it with some avocado and smoked salmon. For lunch I had a peanut paste and jam brownie from Urban Bean Espresso Bar. For dinner I downsized and had a piece of baked skinless chicken thigh with some raw red onion and a bit of marmalade on Rye bread.

Today is payday, always a great day. After paying off bills I wish it was payday tomorrow too…
I got into work at 5 am this morning to prepare for a 6 am teleconference. I brought in a crunchy peanut paste and Buderim Ginger Factory ginger marmalade sandwich which I toasted for breakfast. I’d been inspired by seeing a peanut paste and raspberry jam cronut in a display cabinet in Urban Bean Espresso Bar the day before.
For lunch the inspiration continued and I bought a Bounty Bar cronut.
It was pretty filling.
For dinner I was feeling lazy after a long day at work. I stopped at the Jamison Takeaway and bought a piece of fish, some coleslaw and some potato scallops. When I got home I got some rye bread out of the freezer and made a fish and coleslaw sandwich.
How was your day? What did you eat?

Today is the birthday of one of my best friends from Medical school. I sent her an e-mail to wish her all the best and then I decided to have another crack at the low fat scrambled eggs I did last week. I shot a series of photographs just for fun.
